The following update is a statement on our communication attempts with Aarhus Municipality.

We have repeatedly reached out to Aarhus Municipality to initiate a dialogue, yet have received no response. We have invited the Department of Urban Development, Line Joel (Head of Aarhus Real Estate), and Nikolaj Bang personally—not just for a meeting, but also for a tour of the site. We find it puzzling that Nikolaj Bang attempts to portray the situation as if they have exhausted all avenues for a peaceful, diplomatic solution and are forced to resort to harsher measures, given that Aarhus Municipality has rejected every attempt at dialogue.

Since the original publication of this post the commune has received an email from the municipality in which they reject our invitation to a meeting.
